The Going Global Export Program provides NSW small to medium enterprises with various support measures to help them attain new business in targeted global markets.
Program Overview
The program is divided into 'streams' — each stream is a combination of an industry/sector and a target market. Applications open for different streams at different times and are announced on the Going Global Export Program page.
This program supports businesses in the following industries and sectors:
- Food (agri-food, food and beverage, processed food)
- Health and medtech
- Technology
- Cyber security
- Fintech and edtech
- Space
What the Program Offers
- Export coaching, tailored workshops and business matching
- Assistance from Investment NSW including a dedicated Export Adviser and NSW Trade and Investment Commissioner in your target market
- A 4 to 6 month intensive engagement program
- An understanding of export market dynamics and practical approaches for doing business internationally
- Opportunities for international networking and promotion
- Introductions to potential international customers
- Training in digital offshore marketing and e-commerce
- Peer interaction with businesses in your cohort
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, businesses must:
- Be NSW based with a valid ABN registered for NSW
- Have a product or service that includes significant NSW content and value to the NSW economy
- Have between 3 and 199 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
- Have a product or service relevant for the selected Going Global stream
- Have a website featuring the product or service to be exported
- Be willing to travel to Sydney for events and to the selected market
- Be prepared to adapt a product or service for the market
